Kate Shang is Senior Director, Global Litigation & License Division of Acer Inc.  Kate has held a number of intellectual property and legal roles within Acer over the past 15 years, including as Counsel for Acer’s PC Business Group, Counsel for Compliance & Legal Strategies Division and Lead Counsel for Pan Asia Legal Affairs.  In these roles Kate has led and managed a wide variety of high-profile IP, patent, trade secret, antitrust, class actions and commercial disputes, as well as M&A and other regulatory matters in a global basis. 

Kate is a U.S. registered attorney and admitted to law practice in New York.  She is a graduate of University of Washington, School of Law.
