He is the Chief Legal Advisor, Senior VP & Chief Compliance Officer of GenScript Corp., a HK listed company.  Prior to that, he was a partner with major internal law firms, where for 20+ years, he advised American, European and Chinese clients.  He is especially experienced in intellectual property protection and enforcement, including establish a company’s IP strategy, and using IP as an integral part of a company’s overall competition strategy; patent and trademark procurement and enforcement; investment with IP assets; resolving difficult FTO issues, and devise and negotiate IP license deals.

He has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Nanjing University, a master’s degree in science from Nanjing Agricultural University, and a Ph.D. and a J.D., with honors, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He is a licensed attorney in the State of California, and Washington D.C., as well as registered attorney of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

拥有南京大学生物学学士，南京农业大学硕士、美国威斯康辛大学分子生物学博士和法学博士。他是美国加州和华盛顿特区注册律师，也是美国专利商标局注册律师。
