•Managed Asia Pacific IP enforcement/disputes including cease and desist letters, litigation, anti-counterfeiting and settlements against infringers in AP market; In consultation with Hasbro’s U.S. Legal Department, pursuing infringement actions in AP market, setting strategy, and seeking the recovery of monetary compensation from such infringers
•Conducted targeted investigations of those factories identified as producers of infringing or counterfeit products, and implemented strategic raids on such factories
•Issued takedown notices regarding apps offered online for sale that infringe upon Hasbro’s intellectual properties, as uncovered by Hasbro’s U.S. Legal Department and/or its monitoring services, in those cases where developers are located in AP
•Periodically spot-checked local online markets for infringements of Hasbro’s intellectual properties, and took appropriate actions to remove such products from the sites
•Sought criminal charges to be brought against infringers
•Participated in training events with Chinese Customs officials, and took actions to enforce seizures with Customs
•Provided support and/or handles directly for local trademark clearance, prosecution, oppositions and cancellations, copyright registration, domain name portfolio management
•Worked with business group leaders to make IP strategy aligned with business strategy to facilitate business growth; And provided trainings to business groups
•Assisted with business license and other IP-related transactions
•Reviewed and drafted IP legal documents including NDA, license agreement, authorization letter, and other IP-related contract
